Weingut Triebaumer Erster Nebel Nebbiolo 2019

The story of ERSTER NEBEL goes back to 1987, when Günther’s father Paul made his first trip to Piedmont and brought Nebbiolo vines from his famous colleague Elio Altare. Planted in the top location Plachen, on slate weathered soil with a clay layer, it became the top wine of the estate in the 1990s – at that time a cuvée of 85% Blaufränkisch with 15% Nebbiolo. Since 2015, Erster Nebel has been available as a single varietal wine. 100% Nebbiolo from vines over thirty years old in used barriques for 12 months.
